EverythingTurns releases MoGi - Modelling Synthesis, Instrumentalist for Reaktor

17th April 2014

EverythingTurns has released MoGi, a "Modelling Synthesis, Instrumentalist" for Reaktor.

MoGi is not a synthesiser nor is it a sequencer. It is both Instrument and Instrumentalist combined, producing a "uniquely creative Mystical Music Box".

MoGi's sound is generated using modelling synthesis, there are no oscillators used in a conventional manner, sound is generated by combining three separate energy forces, one in the form of White Noise, a Pure Tone and Resonant Mode Waves, this Tri Harmonic Source is then modified to form it into a resonating object, this could be a string vibrating, a wind instrument or something of a more percussive nature.

Once we have a resonating object to play with we can shape it and modulate it in real time, not only can we change the way the sound evolves in a natural way, MoGi can push the harmonic structure way beyond any conventional synthesised instrument, producing a constantly evolving sequence of textures with a maximum polyphony of 18 voices, all without you having to play a single note.

Price: £14.00. Compatible with Reaktor version 5.8+.
