sonicLAB releases CosmosƒFx effect plugin and adds morphing formant filters
28th July 2014

sonicLAB releases CosmosƒFx, a live input stochastic processor plugin with the identical engine to Cosmosƒ vSaturn.

The synth engine of CosmosƒFx offers three handling methods which concerns the mapping of the incoming data as the micro event audio content.

And then the micro events process this data with their own parameter space and accumulates the result as meso events to the higher level. Then altogether the meso events construct the macro event which then can be fed back to micro events:

CosmosƒFx is a 64-bit VST / AU plugin and comes free with a purchase of Cosmosƒ vSaturn ($230). Cosmosƒ vSaturn registered users will receive a free copy.

sonicLAB has also added morphing formant filters to Cosmosƒ vSaturn and CosmosƒFx. Stochastically modulated vowel synthesis is now possible on micro event level.

Below you can watch the introduction videos for CosmosƒFx and the new formant filter feature.
