Steinberg updates VST Connect Performer for Mac & Win to v2.0.40

Steinberg has announced the availability of a new maintenance update for VST Connect Performer, the client-side application for Steinberg's VST Connect remote recording solution.

The 2.0.40 update resolves some minor issues and is now available as a free download for Mac and PC from the Steinberg website.

Changes:

• An issue with transferring HD files in single mode has been resolved.
• An issue with mismatching sample rates has been resolved.
• An issue with inserting VST instruments has been resolved.
• An issue with certain USB camera models has been resolved.
