Karoryfer and bigcat release a free cello sample library (Kontakt|WAV|SFZ)

Karoryer Samples and bigcat instruments have released a collaborative cello sample library in both Kontakt 5 and SFZ formats.

Key features:

Unprocessed close-miked recordings without vibrato.
All notes sampled every minor third.
Sustained bowed notes with two round robins and four velocity layers, four octave range.
Staccato bowed notes with four round robins and four velocity layers, four octave range.
Pizzicato notes with four round robins, three octave range.
Two extra mappings which trigger multiple samples at once.
Samples of harmonics slides and percussive noises mapped to the keys above the notes.
Several built-in effects in the Kontakt instruments.
A total of 527 samples in 44.1 kHz 24-bit WAV format.
