Source Elements updates Source-Connect for Mac OS X to v3.8

Source Elements has announced the release of Source-Connect 3.8 for Mac OS X, the latest release including major new features. Source Elements has also announced that very soon Source-Connect Standard will be available as a subscription purchase and not require an iLok dongle for authorization. Automated subscriptions will be available mid-October 2014 and it will include same-day tech support and upgrades.

New Features in Source-Connect 3.8:

• 64-bit VST support for Nuendo.
• Remote Transport Sync support for 64-bit applications.
• Cancel port test.
• Subscription option for Standard.

New For Corporate Networks (Pro):

• Disable port test.
• Disable UPnP.
• Configure outbound UDP ports.

New Pro X Features:

• Native 5.1 and 7.1 channels (LFE on channel 4).
