Sample Magic releases 'MIDI Elements: Garage House Beats" and 'House Vocal Tracks 2'

10th March 2015

Sample Magic has two new sound pack releases this week MIDI Elements: Garage House Beats, and House Vocal Tracks 2.

MIDI Elements: Garage House Beats (£14.90) is designed to take a user back to the glory days of UK garage and old school house with 101 swing-heavy beats in MIDI and WAV format. There are 10 drum kits packed with drum one-shots with raw MPC character. Each kit then has 10 MIDI drum grooves written to suit the kits - plus professionally mixed audio stems for those wanting authentic drum mixes.

Each MIDI drum workout is mapped to general MIDI for instant drag and drop use in any DAW. Simply load up one of the 10 custom drum kits and jam the groove. The flexibility of MIDI means you can also change positioning of the hits, edit the tempo, swing settings, velocity registers and much more - giving you the opportunity to customise each beat to slot nicely into your track.

The pack is designed to run the line between classic UK garage, 90s house and modern deep house, MIDI Elements: Garage House Beats is essential for all serious beat makes.

Note: the audio demo uses vocal samples from Dance Vocals and melodic elements from Garage House.

All samples are key-labeled and presented in 24-bit WAV format, ready for use in any major DAW software.

House Vocal Tracks 2 (£16.90) is a selection of ten all new royalty free vocal arrangements designed to produce dusky, rich and soulful tones from a house vocalist.

Taking inspiration from the seminal vocalists such as Anabel Englund, Roisin Murphy and Laura Welsh, House Vocal Tracks 2 contains ten full track vocal compositions containing verses, choruses, harmonies, ad-libs and double tracked phrases - all broken out into constituent stems and keys, while being tempo synced as standard. All files are presented with no additional processing, allowing a user total freedom to add their own effects and tweaks to fit the mix.

Written and performed by one of the rising talents in the London scene and recorded using the fines studio facilities, this collection intends to inject and delivers fresh vocal inspiration in industry standard 24-bit WAV format to ensure pristine audio quality. To make the vocals sit with the groove, each acapella has been output as sung, meaning some files have a small amount of silence retained at their start. For producers, this means dropping the WAV into the bar before the vocal starts in the song.

Please Note: the audio demo contains additional vocal processing in places merely to highlight processing potential of the samples.
