The Unfinished releases Absynth Obsidian

The Unfinished has released Absynth Obsidian, a collection of 128 sounds for NI Absynth that "veers wildly between the bleak and the sumptuous, along a twisted path of dark but beautiful, analogue drift and crystalline, disturbed noises".

Absynth Obsidian contains a world of unusual textures: analogue synths recorded to VHS, taped ambiences cut up and pushed out through valves and tubes. Unhinged leads, wandering pads, bitter soundscapes, murderous basses, obscure pianos and granular sequences.

If you're a fan of experimental artists like Boards of Canada, Ben Frost, Celer or Haxan Cloak, there'll be something in Obsidian for you. There are also nods to soundtracks such as Sunshine by John Murphy/Underworld and Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Trent Reznor/Atticuss Ross.
