Xtant Audio releases "Dicky Deegan's Uilleann Pipes" for Kontakt

Xtant Audio has released Dicky Deegan's Uilleann Pipes, an Irish bagpipe sample library for Kontakt 4.2 and above.

All of the samples were recorded on a full set of pipes with drones, regulators, and chanter. The professional edition comes with 5 Kontakt instruments (NKIs). Two in the key of D, two in the key of C#, and one offering a selection of bag and bellows recordings.

The user interface provides control over the three microphone positions and separate controls to adjust the balance between the various pipes. Other functionality includes legato transitions, round robin repetitions, formant correct slides, and note retriggering.

A lite edition of the library is also available with all the same features but comes with just one of the D instruments and the bag and bellows instrument.
