Cluster Sound releases Drum Brain - Max For Live drum sampler

Cluster Sound has released Drum Brain, a Max For Live drum sampler featuring 6,000 one-shot samples, external files import, a friendly interface and a solid set of synthesizer parameters.

Drum Brain is a drum sampler designed to simplify access to its integrated one-shot samples. Thanks to the Sample Selector and the advanced Randomizer, Drum Brain allows a user to find and load a sound, and to randomize the samples of specific categories.

The drums can be mangled with a set of synth parameters, including 8 filters with cutoff and resonance controls, and a Pitch Envelope section. A Sample Start-Length system with reverse, smoothing and truncation features, specifically designed for drum sounds, is also provided. Drum Brain can import external samples and implements a Device Auto Renaming, which can be useful when Drum Brain is placed in a Drum Rack.
