AAS releases Epicycles sound bank for the Chromaphone 2 and AAS Player plug-ins

Applied Acoustics Systems has released the Epicycles sound bank for the Chromaphone 2 synthesizer and AAS Player plug-ins in collaboration with artist and sound designer Richard Devine.

After his Microsound Textures compendium, Richard Devine revisits Chromaphone in its second incarnation and presents an unsettling and opaque collection of new sounds. The 111 Epicycles presets adventurously delve into enigmatic and uncertain lands. Nine categories structure the series of patterns and textures: Soundscapes, Basses, Plucked Strings, Keys, Synths, Strings and Pads, Percussions, Arps, and Effects.

The Epicycles sound bank is available now at the regular price of US$39. Until May 31, 2016, the Epicycles sound bank is available at the introductory price of US$29 and is bundled with every purchase of the new Chromaphone 2 acoustic object synthesizer.
