Gospel Musicians has released BASSalicious, a VST and AU plug-in and Standalone synth for Mac OS X and Windows.
BASSalicious is a dedicated monophonic synth bass plug-in that focuses on authentic and organic sounds. The goal of BASSalicious was to make the plugin sound and feel like the actual hardware. In order to achieve this, Gospel Musicians say "we pioneered a new way to use wavetables. Instead of limiting the bandwidth, which is done with almost all wavetable synthesizers, we figured out a way to keep the full warmth of the actual wavetable, thus making the sounds more authentic and analog sounding".
