Acustica Audio announces Sand Channel-Strip Plug-in

Acustica Audio has announced Sand, a complete channel-strip plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows designed to recreate the sound characteristics of British consoles from the '80s and featuring a combination of many devices into a single one.

Sand includes features, like a routing control knob (14 positions) and CORE9 ultra-sync technology:

• Routing 01: Compressor > Filter > EQ.
• Routing 02: Compressor with external side-chain > Filter > EQ.
• Routing 03: Filter > EQ > Compressor.
• Routing 04: Filter > EQ > Compressor with external side-chain.
• Routing 05: Filter > Compressor > EQ.
• Routing 06: Filter > Compressor with external side-chain > EQ.
• Routing 07: Compressor with Filter and EQ in internal side-chain.
• Routing 08: Compressor with Filter and EQ in external side-chain.
• Routing 09: Filter > Compressor with EQ in internal side-chain.
• Routing 10: Filter > Compressor with EQ in external side-chain.
• Routing 11: EQ > Compressor with Filter in internal side-chain.
• Routing 12: EQ > Compressor with Filter in external side-chain.
• Routing 13: Filter in internal side-chain; Compressor > EQ.
• Routing 14: Filter in external side-chain; Compressor > EQ.

Sand includes four preamp simulations, two four band equalizers, four filters and two compressors, plus the routing and CRT meters monitor.
