Bitley Sounds & ReFills releases "Lost In The Fairlight Maze" for Kontakt

21st November 2016

Bitley Sounds & ReFills has released Lost In The Fairlight Maze, a new and growing collection of Fairlight CMI-based monolith patchbanks for Kontakt 5 (5.3.1 and up). The banks are sorted by instrument character or musical styles.

Sampled instruments include Fairlight CMI, Casio CZ and VZ, Yamaha DX and TX, Roland Juno and JX, D-20, D-50, JD-800, JD-990, Korg Trinity, MS-2000, Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, all TR machines, Oberheim DMX, Xpander, Matrix-12, Matrix-6R, E-mu Emulator II and Three, Oberheim DPX-1 and many more. Factory disks of the Fairlight and certain preset sounds such as the JX-10 Obese Fifths patch or Sararr from the CMI are natural ingredients in this collection. Custom programming made on D-50, K4, JX8P and more has also been done with multi & multi velocity layer sampling in stereo. Bitley combines said sources with the Fairlight to bring out entirely new sounds.

The library is inspired by, but not limited to: Kraftwerk, Art Of Noise, Yello, Scritti Politti, Howard Jones, Chaka Khan, A-ha, Mike Oldfield, Alan Wilder and Depeche Mode mainly MTFM / Violator, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Yazoo, Human League, Eurythmics, Enigma, Tears For Fears, Propaganda and more. Those types of sounds are what can be expected.

Each bank provides 20-50 different patches. Currently 12 banks are available. Options are ordering all current and coming banks as a whole package or just selected banks. An upgrade from Fairlight Kontakt is also available. The complete library covers most areas of sampler, drum machine and synthesizer instruments and delivers old-school sampler sounds as well as more contemporary ones.

Pricing starts at $10.
