Inear Display has released Litote, a granular effect plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X.
Litote is a granular processor designed to turn sounds into complex textures. Four audio engines can be combined using a XY pad for a wide range of variations. Hiding the complexity of the engines, Litote delegates patch creation to randomized generators.
Litote also includes a trajectory mode to travel through these granular landscapes automatically.
