Samplemodeling updates Woodwinds (v2.7.0) and Strings (v1.3.0)

Samplemodeling has announced that the SWAM team has released free updates for their Woodwinds (v2.7) and Strings - Cello, Viola and Violin (v1.3).

Please note that this update is the last version supporting both 64 and 32-bit architecture. All the future updates will be available as 64-bit plugins only.

Changes in Woodwinds v2.7.0

New:

• GUI improvements: activation panel, warning messages, other tweaks.
• Legato Mode can be controlled by MIDI CC.
• Expression change is more reactive in Flutes.
• Accidental Squeak is controlled by Dyn.Harm.
• Possibility to exclude portamento even for velocity-controlled legato transitions.

Fixed:

• crash at startup or when loading presets on some hosts/DAWs.
• muted instrument and empty display after first activation.
• presets not recalled by Vienna Ensemble Pro.

Changes in Strings v1.3.0

New:

• Improved bow/string friction model.
• Small improvements to sound engine.
• Slightly improved legato on multi-dimensional devices (like Seaboard and LinnStrument).
• Possibility to exclude portamento even for velocity-controlled legato transitions.
• Added emulation of instruments recorded through a PickUp.
• GUI improvements: activation panel, warning messages, other tweaks.

Fixed:

• Auto polyphony sometimes not triggered after about 20 seconds from the latest note.
