ModeAudio releases 'Hinterlands - Serum Downtempo Presets'

ModeAudio has released Hinterlands - Serum Downtempo Presets, a patch library of 50 presets for the Xfer Records Serum soft synth. The presets have been built from 50 custom wavetables, sampled from analog synths, additive synthesis and orchestral string sounds.

Focusing on the hazy, drifting and droning flavours of Downtempo, Ambient and Trip Hop, the library consists of basses, synth plucks, pads and textures, heavily emphasising the organic grain and nuance of each of the 50 custom wavetables.

Also included in the release are 40 MIDI files, designed to pair basslines, chord progressions and lead melodies with the presets to showcase each in turn.
