Deskew Technologies updates Gig Performer to v2.2

Deskew Technologies has updated Gig Performer, its VST/AU audio plugin host for Mac and Windows users, to version 2.2.

Gig Performer is for use by keyboard players, guitarists, drummers, singers and FoH sound engineers who care about usability and efficient workflow to quickly create and play the sounds they need for their live shows or studio recording sessions. Gig Performer is designed to be quick and easy to use for musicians who don't want technology to get in their way but need the right functionality to support their working and touring lives easier.

• (Audio) Improved handling of audio interface disconnections/reconnections on Mac and Windows.
• (Graphics) Multiple UI rendering engine support.
• (Rackspaces) Even more rackspace switching optimization.
• Prevent Windows from sleeping and prevent both Windows and OS X from switching off the display.
• (GP Script) Added support for constrained callbacks.
• (GP Script) Added more string manipulation functions.
• (GP Script) GetVelocity function now returns 0 if the note event was actually a Note Off. A new function, GetReleaseVelocity was added for use with Note Off events.
• (GP Script) MIDI messages can now be tested against a range directly using the 'in' operator.
• (Plugins) Fixed a problem where changing plugin parameters through a plugin UI on Windows could be really slow.
• (Plugins) Audio File Player plugin now opens much faster.
• (OSC) /Refresh command was sometimes sending a bogus transpose value.
• (Windows) Fixed problem where plugin About box was being displayed UNDER the options dialog.
• (Windows) Fixed problem where MIDI devices might close after changing audio settings (what's wrong with you, Microsoft? MIDI .= Audio).
• (Windows) CPU meter is less jittery.
• (Inputs recorder) Saved tracks were not always exactly the same length.
• (Widgets) Changing widget handle and then clicking on another widget was not committing the first handle.
• (MidiIn block) Messages triggered by clicking on-screen keyboard now respect the output MIDI channel for the block.
• (Scanner) Plugin scanner now displays current plugin being scanned.
