Sub51 releases "Satur809" for NI Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol

Sub51 have announced the release of Satur809 formatted for NI Kontakt which includes pre-mapping for NI Komplete Kontrol.

Presented as a full-function velocity layered Kontakt instrument with access to Compression, Limiter, Reverb, Lo-fi, Delay and Phaser, the meticulously recorded samples from original 808 and 909 machines were treated to both light and heavy doses of tape compression using a Studer A80 providing plenty of tonal variety as an alternative to the pristine 'clean' version.

Each voice may be individually tuned over a four-octave range. The samples also come as WAVs, MIDI files and pre-mapped files for NI's Komplete Kontrol. Satur809 also includes 150 ready-made loops treated with medium and heavy saturation as well as tools a user may need to build their own distinctive patterns. Satur809 is a TR808 and TR909 sample-based instrument.

For users of NI's Komplete Kontrol, there is also the option to load and control Satur809 via pre-mapped files.

The full version of NI's Kontakt (not Kontakt Player) is required.

Existing users of Satur8 will be eligible for a free upgrade to Satur809.
