Best Service releases Orient World & Chris Hein - Horns

23rd November 2005

Best Service has released Orient World, a Native Instruments Intakt based 4 GB oriental sound library, and Chris Hein - Horns Vol. 1, a Native Instruments Kontakt Player based 3.5 GB brass sound library.

Orient World provides phrases, loops, licks, arpeggios and FX, always perfectly looped and ready to be combined, accurately divided in BPM values, but nevertheless, thanks to the Intakt Player, adjustable to any tempo. It includes Saz, Balaban, Zurma, Ney, Kanun, Violin, Accordion, Oud, Saxophone, and a wide variety of all-purpose percussion instruments.

Orient World is available for Windows and Mac OS X in VST, DX, AU, RTAS and stand-alone formats and costs €169.

Chris Hein - Horns Vol. 1 includes Alt-Sax, Tenor-Sax, Trumpet, Trombone and Trumpet-Section. Its main features are:

Dynamics
Up to 20 dynamics (10 on average) have been sampled for each playing technique. This enables complete control over the dynamics and provides a greater amount of variation per note. To avoid the machinegun-effect in repetitions simply adjust the velocity in your sequencer's editor.

MIDI Controller
35 MIDI controllers have been programmed for each instrument. A complete 3-band EQ as well as Reverb, Delay and Chorus can be automated with standard MIDI controllers.

Playing Techniques
Up to 44 playing techniques have been programmed for the instruments. Key-switching is used to change playing techniques instantly, without having to load each program separately.

Chris Hein - Horns Vol. 1 is available for Windows and Mac OS X in VST, DX, AU, RTAS and stand-alone formats and costs €349.
