VSL announces Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 Pre-Sale and releases Epic Orchestra 2.0

27th February 2019

The Vienna Symphonic Library has announced a specially priced pre-sale offer for Vienna Ensemble Pro 7, a major update of their most popular cross-platform mixing and hosting application that easily connects multiple computers. What's more, Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 includes the massively expanded Epic Orchestra 2.0, powered by the company's new Synchron Player. While the Vienna developers are putting the finishing touches on Vienna Ensemble Pro 7, customers who pre-order the product will receive the new Epic Orchestra 2.0 right away, free of charge.

Vienna Ensemble Pro is a cross-platform network solution that enables users to set up multiple computer networks with both Macs and PCs, without the need of external MIDI and audio interfaces. Due to its dual architecture servers, Vienna Ensemble Pro supports both 64-bit and 32-bit third-party VST/AU plug-ins and mixes them in stereo and surround (up to 7.1), with full parameter automation. The intelligent "Preserve" function is a huge time saver and lets users disconnect the software from the DAW when switching from one project to another, while keeping all plug-ins and samples loaded.

The massively updated new version 7 features integrated mixing and FX tools, based on the company's high-end audio processing plug-in bundle Vienna Suite Pro, including hundreds of production-ready presets for all kinds of mixing situations. Unlike previous versions of the software, Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 comes as single licenses, enabling users to purchase the exact number of licenses they need. Upgrade prices for users of the previous versions Vienna Ensemble Pro 4, 5 and 6 are currently available at introductory prices.

Massively Expanded: Epic Orchestra 2.0
Vienna Ensemble Pro comes with Epic Orchestra, a powerful bonus library that includes the highlights from the company's most popular large ensembles, such as Fanfare Trumpets, Epic Horns, Appassionata Strings and Woodwind Ensembles that can be played across the entire range of the keyboard. The updated sample collection Epic Orchestra 2.0 includes all the instruments and ensembles from the original Epic Orchestra plus a wide variety of patches from the company's latest releases, such as Synchron Strings, Synchron FX Strings, Synchron Percussion, Synchron Power Drums, Vienna Smart Spheres and the SYNCHRON-ized product series.

With a data size of 73 GB, the new Epic Orchestra 2.0 is ten times the size of the original version that was included with previous versions of Vienna Ensemble Pro. All samples of Epic Orchestra 2.0 have been re-edited and mapped for the company's new Synchron Player, and enhanced with the integrated convolution reverb featuring customized impulses from Synchron Stage Vienna.

Special Pre-Sale Offer
