FrozenPlain relaunch Phoenix - Cinematic Synth VST/AU in a New Engine

FrozenPlain has released Phoenix on their new engine, Mirage.

The instrument is based on a set of smooth synthetic strings and choir samples, and can be used to create wide strings backdrops and ethereal choirs. The new Phoenix allows for greater control of these sounds with the sample-based synthesis engine. With Mirage the instruments can be processed in three separate audio layers, with envelopes, LFOs, filters, and a rack of effects.

The result is a sound design tool designed for creating cinematic pads, keys and basses, and underscoring. Examples of such sounds are included in the 80 production-ready presets that come with the product. These are broken into five categories: basses, keys, leads, pads and sound effects.

Price: $35 ($5 if you own a previous version of Phoenix).
