Sensel and KVR launch MPE Producer's Bundle Giveaway

13th October 2020

Sensel and KVR Audio today announced a massive MPE Producer's Bundle Giveaway.

Partnering with Bitwig Studio, Madrona Labs, Snyderphonics, Audio Damage, and SonalSystem, the prize is a complete kit for discovering the best of MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression), the new MIDI standard for per-note control. It includes a modern DAW from Bitwig Studio, incredible sounding instruments with Aalto and Continua, expressive presets from SonalSystem, and an essential USB-CV Eurorack module in the Snyderphonics Manta Mate. The complete package of hardware and software is valued at over $1,200, and provides a full spectrum of what you can do with MPE.

Sensel and KVR are dedicated to the advancement of MIDI, and recently launched All About MPE in the KVR Experts Forum to spark discussion and learning about the benefits of MPE.

Peter Nyboer of Sensel comments:

Even though it is a standard, there's a million ways to use it. With the ability to control different timbres and tunings on each note and each finger, electronic music finally has a reliable way to put all the unreliability of the human body into sound. This can result in something 'bad' or 'amateur' or it can be incredibly emotional and expressive.

Chris Halaby, KVR CEO, adds:

MPE is a very important part of the future of MIDI, and KVR is always looking for ways to raise awareness. Every passing month we see more inventors incorporating MPE into their hardware and software instruments, and we are looking forward to hearing what musicians can do with them.

The Giveaway runs from October 12 to November 12 and can be entered here.
