Brave Retro World releases YMT3X Impulse Response Library

Brave Retro World has announced the release of Ymt3x Impulse Response Library, based on the sounds of the MT3X cassette PortaStudio and XLII CrO2 cassette tape.

Brave Retro World explains:

This 4-track cassette recorder was announced in the late 80's and featured a 6-channel mixer with two shelving filters on each channel, 2 separate sends, 2 cassette speeds, noise reduction system and automatic punch in/out function.

• 24-bit mono wave audio (.wav);
• 4 sample rates: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, 96 kHz;
• Each sample rate was recorded separately;
• 121 impulse responses of analog shelf EQ;
• 12 impulse responses of XLII CrO2 cassette tape;
• A total of 133 impulse responses for each sample rate;
• Impulse response length is 200 ms;
• 30 second cassette tape hiss noise samples.
