A Sound Effect launches Sound Design Contest (includes 20 free sounds)

Independent sound community site A Sound Effect has kicked off a big new Sound Design Contest, offering 4 chances to win popular sound effects libraries from Spectravelers. On top of that, cloud sound effects platform Soundly is also sponsoring 1-year Soundly Pro subscriptions for two winners (giving access to 60,000 premium SFX & much more).

A sound effects giveaway is also launched alongside the contest, providing a chance to win prizes without having to enter the creative part of the contest.

As an added bonus, all entrants get 20 free sound effects from Spectravelers to design from - these sounds can be freely used for other projects as well, including commercial ones.

4 winners are picked in total – One in each of these categories:

• Spectravelers' Favorite Sound Design: The Grand Prize: All current Spectravelers libraries + a 1-year Soundly Pro subscription.
• Most Original Sound Design: 2 Spectravelers library of the winner's choice.
• Best Retro Sci-Fi Sound Design: 1 Spectravelers library of the winner's choice.
• Giveaway – drawn at random: 1 Spectravelers library of the winner's choice + a 1-year Soundly Pro subscription.
