UnitedPlugins releases JMG Sound Cryostasis - Sonic Freeze Effect

UnitedPlugins has released Cryostasis, an effect to freeze the sound of individual tracks or whole songs. They say:

Cryostasis is a spectral inertia effect that can progressively smear your audio until infinitely frozen in time. You can use the various controls to change the sound of the freeze effect. For example, the Size parameter will change the time length of the spectral window, which completely changes the sonic character.

Cryostasis would typically be used in electronic music projects. But it can be used on guitars or other acoustic instruments. Cryostasis can serve many purposes: Create tape-stop effects, rhythmical effects or creative transitions between song parts. Also, the ways to trigger Cryostasis may vary. Control the main freeze knob by hand, DAW automation or simply set the melt-to-frost time in milliseconds or musical measures and engage the effect by hitting a button.
