Vicious Antelope has released Melodic Rhythms, a free soundset that contains 40 presets for Arturia Pigments 3 and Analog Lab V.
The base for this freebie is a synced delay on dotted quavers. This creates a very beautiful background melody that glues very nice with the track. The most famous song that uses this creative delay on a clean guitar is Another Brick In The Wall part 1 by the prog monsters Pink Floyd. For the metal fans a very good example of this is the song Alone from Amorphis or Cathedral by Van Halen.
As the base here is the delay effect, the sound of each preset has a big variety from sweet mellow like the number 35 or 40 preset, to electric piano sound like number 32 preset or some harsh stuff like number 27 preset, to more percussive things like the first 2 presets.
This soundbank could fit to a variety of music genres from rock to electronic or from cinematic to funk styles.
The 4 macros are assigned to different synth settings to create a multidimensional sonic palette while MW is assigned to vibrato (most of the times subtle) and AT to extreme pitch modulation.
