Mix Challenge Celebrating 9th Anniversary - Competitions in June 2023

The Mix Challenge audio community has announced it is celebrating the 9th anniversary of the Mix(ing) Challenge:

The Mix Challenge has been around for 9 years (started in 2014 on KVR Audio). As of this moment, we are at 92 Mix(ing) Challenges, and 70 Songwriting Competitions.

Year 9 was still quite rocky. Especially on the topic of acquiring new multi-tracks for our community's namesake. On the other hand, participation with the Songwriting Competition has increased. Slight adjustments to each month's game thread, and a revision of the feedback and voting mechanics, may have contributed to this.

I can only reiterate my gratitude to all who have been (and still are) part of this community. From our song providers, to license sponsors, the monthly participants, all the very generous patrons, to all those that go the extra mile and spread the word about this community, the cross-community support and collaboration, etc.

Without you, your help and words of encouragement, I don't know where the community would be today. So please keep up the good work, reach out, share knowledge, interact. Thank you ever so much.

The following challenges are currently open to compete in:

1. Mix Challenge #092:
   • Have the chance to work on a Folk Rock (Bluegrass) production.
   • Deadline: 21st of June.
2. Songwriting Competition #070:
   • The theme being "Arts and Crafts".
   • Create a production in a music genre you feel like (fitting to the given premise).
   • Deadline: 24th of June.

Prizes will be awarded to the Winners Podium. Among them (selection): Acon Digital, Cherry Audio, Ghostwave Audio, Hollow Sun, Hornet Plugins, IK Multimedia, JRR Sounds, Kilohearts, kv331 audio, Luftrum, Metric Halo, Musiclab, NOS Audio, Nugen Audio, Rekkerd Sounds, Satyatunes Graphic and Sound Design and Tone2.
