Cognitone updates "Synfire" Music Prototyping Studio to v2.2.4

Cognitone has updated Synfire, its Music Prototyping Studio, to version 2.2.4. The update includes many bug fixes and improvements.

New Features:

• Instrument groups.
• New coloring scheme "Tonnetz".
• Audio Engine: Plug-ins scanned up to 800% faster.
• Device Editor: Convert a regular device to a template.
• Preferences: Select the default startup window.
• Library: Ability to assign a sound to all pools in a folder.
• Example Piano: Added and improved some pools with factories.
• Select foreground and background instrument from separate menus.
• Import articulations from Cubase Expression Maps.

Other Improvements:

• Improved handling of articulations.

• Improved management of devices.

• Improved VST3 compatibility.

• Many bugs fixed to improve stability and performance.
