Lobith Audio introduces PlayerSpecz - Waveform Player

Lobith Audio has introduced a new waveform audio player and metadata inspection tool called PlayerSpecz. They say:

This player aims to be the go-to solution to quickly play and evaluate audio.

This tool was developed from long experience of working in professional post productions, where quickly finding information an a vast amount of audio files is key.

PlayerSpecz focusses on wave files, but will open many other audio file types as well.

Player features:

• Playback any amount of channels and any sample rate.
• Mix to different channel formats.
• Solo or mute any channel.
• Speed up or down in chromatic steps.
• Live metering of input or output.

Metadata displayed includes:

• Broadcast Wave Extension (BWAV).
• IXML Field Recorder (film set metadata).
• Dolby Atmos (ADM).
• Instrument (sampler, key, loop, etc...).
• ID3, Info and other music related information.
• CART (radio metadata).
• Many other metadata formats (ACID, SNMD, NMIX. etc.).

Additional Visualisers in the Pro version:

• Zoomable spectrogram to give you spectral information.
• Real-time spectral analyzer.
• Zoomable loudness history (EBU R128 & ITU-R BS.1770 compliant).
• Loudness distribution.

And export of the metadata as XML.
