Plugin Alliance releases Mäag Audio EQ4 MS

Plugin Alliance, a part of Native Instruments, has announced the Mäag Audio EQ4 MS 6-band dual-channel mastering EQ plugin. Developed in partnership with Mäag Audio and Brainworx, this new plugin offers "mastering-grade transparency, flexibility, and expanded functionality", bringing the classic sound of the Mäag hardware into the digital domain.

Based on the Mäag Audio EQ4M hardware unit, the EQ4 MS plugin introduces a suite of advanced features including mid/side processing, dual-channel functionality, and extended Air Band control, offering more options for producers and engineers to shape their sound.

The Mäag Audio EQ4M is celebrated for its transparent sound and the signature Air Band, a unique high-frequency boost that enhances vocals, instruments, and entire mixes without harshness. With the EQ4 MS plugin, users can now access that same signature sound, enhanced by mid/side processing, perfect for widening the soundstage and improving spatial clarity.
