XILS-lab has launched The Eighty, a virtual homage to the iconic CS80, a staple of the 1970s and a favorite of legendary composer Vangelis.

• Two Main Synthesis Signal Paths: The instrument features two main synthesis signal paths inspired by the CS-80, along with a third synthesis signal path that can be blended through a 2D mixer for expanded sonic possibilities.
• Meticulous Modeling: The zero-delay 12 dB resonant high-pass and low-pass filters are meticulously modeled in each synthesis signal path to maintain an analog-like sound without digital artifacts. The oscillators are also meticulously modeled to include unique CS-80 characteristics such as saw wave creation with short pulses, ensuring distinctive tone and texture.
