Sampleson Introduces rePEDAL: An A.I. Guitar Pedal Maker (Free Beta)

Sampleson has announced rePEDAL, an "A.I. guitar pedal maker".

Artificial intelligence has transformed the way guitar amps and pedals are modeled, bringing new level of realism. But what if A.I. could go beyond imitation and design hardware that has never existed?

rePEDAL is an experimental machine learning project from Sampleson, currently in beta. It generates a new random overdrive pedal every time you click the REMAKE icon on its interface.

How It Works

rePEDAL works by randomizing the structure of the neural network, creating a new model with each iteration.

This project explores the creative potential of neural networks in sound design, moving beyond replication of hardware.

To use it, simply:

• Load rePEDAL as an effect on an audio track in your DAW.
• Click REMAKE to generate a new, one-of-a-kind overdrive pedal.
• Experiment and discover tones that have never been heard before.

Availability

A Beta release open for feedback. Sampleson invites musicians, producers, and sound designers to download it for free, experiment with its capabilities, and share their feedback.
