Applied Computer Music Technologies updates ACM-Series Plug-ins to V3.3.0
17th March 2025
Applied Computer Music Technologies has updated their ACM range of plug-ins for Windows and Linux.
V3.3.0 improves integration with Reaper's MIDI-learn mode, and adds a preferences panel for configuring the control mode.
The control mode determines the way in which the rotary controls respond to mouse movement. This may also be configured via the host application preferences where applicable:
- Circular. In this mode, clicking on a control will move it immediately to the mouse pointer's angular position. Dragging the mouse pointer in a circle or an arc will adjust the control further. Increasing the arc radius provides fine control.
- Relative Circular (Default). This is the default mode. Similar to circular, however moving the mouse will adjust the control relative to its current setting.
- Linear. In this mode, the control responds to vertical mouse movement. Dragging up increases the value, turning the control clockwise, while dragging down decreases the value, turning the control anticlockwise. Holding down [ Shift ] enables fine control.
In all modes, double clicking the center of a control will return it to its default position.
The ACM-Series plug-ins are available from Applied Computer Music Technologies priced £120. This is a free update for existing users. Demo versions are free to download. The latest versions are available to download at: acmt.co.uk/products
