Mix Challenge Celebrating 11th Anniversary - Competitions in June 2025

The Mix Challenge audio community is celebrating its 11th anniversary, spanning 11 years of education, experimentation, and collaboration.

We have just completed the 11th year since the start of this endeavor. The 104th Mix(ing) Challenge and our 094th Songwriting Competition are currently underway. With more challenges in the making.

Year 10 has been a bit slow in terms of changes and improvements for our community. A lot of time was invested into more visualization, but also optimization and automation of processes, which will have a larger impact for the community over time. This also makes room for expansions, which you may see later this year.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this vibrant community. Without you, your help and words of encouragement, the Mix Challenge might have vanished quite a while ago. Please keep up the good work, reach out, share knowledge, interact. Thank you ever so much.

The Mix Challenge competitions start off with two games this month.

The following challenges are currently open to compete in:

1. Mix Challenge #104:
   • Have the chance to work on a Synth-Pop / Synthwave production.
   • Deadline: 21st of June.
2. Songwriting Competition #094:
   • The theme being "Colors and Street Art" (Picture Theme).
   • Create a production in any music genre you feel like (fitting to the given premise).
   • Deadline: 24th of June.

Prizes will be awarded to the Winners Podium. Among them (selection): Acon Digital, Audified, Cherry Audio, Ghostwave Audio, Hollow Sun, Hornet Plugins, IK Multimedia, JRR Sounds, Kilohearts, kv331 audio, Luftrum, Metric Halo, Musiclab, Nugen Audio, Rekkerd Sounds, Satyatunes Graphic and Sound Design and Tone2.
