HoRNet Plugins updates Multicomp Plus MK2 to v2.1.1 with AAX Apple Silicon Support and Bug Fixes

HoRNet Plugins has announced the release of version 2.1.1 of Multicomp Plus MK2, an update that enhances compatibility and stability for the versatile analog-style compressor plugin.

Multicomp Plus MK2 is a dynamics processor offering five classic compressor models — VCA, OPTO, FET, Console4K, and VCA160 — along with an expander based on the VCA model. The plugin also features adjustable analog saturation, an input transformer emulation, and advanced metering tools including the "RealGR" gain reduction meter that visually tracks compression in real-time.

This latest update includes:

• Native AAX Apple Silicon support.
• Removal of legacy VST 2.4 support.
• Fixes for parameter saving issues in Live, Bitwig, and Studio One.
• A fix for potential crashes with VST3 on mono tracks.
• Improved popup menu rendering on macOS.
• Resolution of a bypass crash in the VST3 version within Studio One.

Multicomp Plus MK2 also provides auto input/output gain, auto threshold, dry/wet mix control, and internal oversampling up to 4x (with an "auto" mode to choose the best setting per model). Sidechain filtering is fully customizable, with both high-pass and low-pass filters ranging from 20Hz to 20kHz.
