Noisebud releases Splitt v2.0 (Free VST3 / AU)

Noisebud has released version 2.0 of Splitt, a free linear-phase spectrum splitter plugin for macOS and Windows.

Originally developed for internal use during a mastering project, Splitt allows users to isolate and route low and high frequency bands to separate outputs for independent processing.

Despite its minimal UI, Noisebud says Splitt offers flexibility for both mixing and mastering workflows, and has quickly found a wider user base.

The latest update adds new controls, bug fixes, and broader macOS support.

New in v2.0:

• Gain knobs for each band.
• Bypass buttons.
• Minor bug fixes.
• AU version now signed and notarized for macOS.

Formats:

• MacOS: VST3 & AU.
• Windows: VST3.
