Softube Announces Plugin Alliance Control for Console 1 Mixing System

Softube has announced a significant update to its Console 1 Mixing System Mk III, introducing compatibility with a range of plugins from Plugin Alliance. This update adds 25 new modules to the Console 1 system, with more planned for the future.

The update allows users to load and control select Plugin Alliance plugins directly from the Console 1 Channel Mk III hardware, as well as Console 1 Mk I and Mk II, without the need for manual mapping.

Softube has carefully mapped controls, particularly for the EQ and compression sections of Plugin Alliance's "bx_consoles," to ensure a seamless workflow. The integration includes support for Shape, EQ, and Compressor modules from brands such as Brainworx, Focusrite, AMEK, SSL, elysia, Mäag, Shadow Hills, Dangerous Music, and Black Box Design.

The Console 1 Mixing System Mk III provides visual feedback with gain reduction meters and EQ curves displayed on its screens when using compatible Plugin Alliance products. This is intended to facilitate a faster and more intuitive mixing process, allowing users to focus on critical listening.

The Plugin Alliance support is available as a free update for all Console 1 owners.
