Initial Audio updates SourceLab with improved Heat Up 3 integration
3rd July 2025
Initial Audio has updated SourceLab to version 1.2.0.
This update improves Heat Up 3 library integration. Heat Up 3 instruments can now be browsed and loaded directly in the main browser. They can be searched, Favourited, filtered by expansion and drag and dropped on a Source for easier layering.
Improvements:
- Deeper Heat Up 3 integration.
- The Sources on the preset browser page now use the same browser as the lab page. Which is easier to find and choose Sources based on sound type.
- Content browsers are now filtered by the Bank selected (So no longer shows all available types, making the list more manageable).
- Added previous and next buttons to Preset content browsers.
- Drag and drop MIDI box now has a tooltip, and reacts to mouse over.
- Added a clear button for the unison editor. This is a quick way to reset all bars to zero.
- Clicking previous or next wavetable when none is already loaded will now load the first wavetable in the menu. Before users had to first load a wavetable from the menu before previous and next buttons worked.
Fixes:
- Fixed always glide mode not pitching correctly in mono mode.
- Fixed a possible crash in the auto key finding when doing multiple large shifts via the note shift menu.
- Fixed Source Browser didn't remember the last selected Source.
- Fixed time indicator not updating in sequencers. (regression from 1.1.0).
- Fixed wires didn't redraw when adding or removing an effect.
Existing SourceLab customers can run the installer again to get the update.
