Excite Audio releases Evolve Alloy Synth Plugin

Excite Audio has announced the release of Evolve Alloy, a new sample-based synthesizer and the first instrument in their new Evolve series. The instrument is dedicated to capturing the sonic essence of metal, designed for creating sounds like resonant pads, shining bells, gritty basses, bright plucks, and energetic leads.

Evolve Alloy combines a core of over 250 metallic sound sources with a synthesis engine. The sound library ranges from bright glockenspiels and bells to industrial foley recordings and modern metallic-sounding synths. Users can forge their sound using a four-layer engine and blend between the sources with an expressive XY pad.

For sound shaping, the instrument includes four metal-inspired macro effects: Sharpen, Rust, Vibrate, and Spring. It also features dual filters, drag-and-drop modulation (envelopes, LFOs, XY controls), and a rearrangeable 3-slot FX chain. For those wanting to go beyond the included library, Evolve Alloy allows for the import of user samples to build custom patches from the ground up.
