Babylonwaves has announced the immediate availability of Art Conductor for Dorico, a comprehensive collection of Expression Maps supporting over 1,000 commercial sample libraries.

Unlike standard Cubase Expression Maps imported into Dorico, these maps have been meticulously crafted to take full advantage of Dorico's unique capabilities and workflow advantages.

Art Conductor for Dorico offers a sophisticated two-tier approach to accommodate varying complexity levels:

Advanced Modular Design

Art Conductor's modular architecture represents a significant advancement over traditional Cubase implementations. Each articulation can incorporate multiple playback techniques simultaneously. For example, "Legato Sordino" combines two distinct playback techniques—Legato and Sordino—enabling composers to write a melodic line, apply ties to trigger legato expression, and mark the entire passage with sordino to affect all techniques within that section.

Intelligent Automation with Manual Override

The expression maps fully support Dorico's automatic technique detection system.
