8UP releases "8-Bit Pauses" Sound Effects Sample Pack

8UP has released 8-Bit Pauses, a collection of classic NES-style pause sounds. These short, retro tones freeze the game action with brief jingles, ranging from simple two-note alternations to skipping arpeggios.

The samples are organized into four sound categories:

• Two Tone – pause sounds alternating between just two notes.
• Tone Ladders – quick, standard arpeggiated pause tones.
• Leaping Arps – arpeggios that skip around in sequence.
• Chordal Jumps – short melodic jumps using notes from a single chord.
