Reflex Acoustics releases Reflexive EQ - a free, simple dynamic EQ plugin

Reflex Acoustics has released the Reflexive EQ plugin, which offers four dynamic EQ bell curves capable of taming or ducking selected frequencies via a workflow optimized for speed.

When we say that this plugin works fast, we mean a couple of different things.

First, the simple feature set and streamlined controls allow producers and engineers to work quickly, without getting bogged down calibrating the device to the loudness of the material, or lost in menus (because there aren't any, except for the preset chooser). Optional LUFS matching allows an honest A/B test almost immediately after you adjust controls.

Second, when attack times are set shorter than your choice of look-ahead, the device becomes snappy enough to be used as a frequency-specific transient shaper (or you can employ slower attack times in order to focus gain reduction on the part of the sound following the transient).
