Universal Audio Releases Paradise Guitar Studio - Native Amp & Effects Suite

Universal Audio has announced the release of Paradise Guitar Studio, a new native UAD plug-in designed to provide a complete guitar recording signal chain. Available for Mac and PC, the software combines emulations of classic amplifiers, cabinets, and microphones with stompbox and studio effects.

The plug-in is designed to offer an "end-to-end" virtual workflow. It features a drag-and-drop interface, allowing users to customize their signal path in a manner similar to a physical pedalboard. The core sound generation relies on 11 distinct vintage and modified tube amplifier models, which cover a range of clean, crunch, and boutique tones. These are paired with curated speaker cabinets and adjustable microphone placements.

Beyond the amplifier section, Paradise Guitar Studio includes a suite of post-processing tools. Users can utilize studio-grade effects such as 1176 compression, vintage tape echo, spring and plate reverbs, and EQ. The software also includes utility features like an integrated tuner and input gate.
