At its core, Euclyd uses Euclidean rhythm, the simple idea of spacing a number of events as evenly as possible over time, to define its delay taps. This mathematical approach creates patterns that are well balanced yet sound entirely organic:

• Geometric Timing: Each echo is a precisely placed beat within a rhythmic pattern. Users can adjust the Steps, Taps, and Time controls to reveal geometric timing relationships, shifting Euclyd from tight, tempo-locked grids to evolving textures.
• Motion and Groove: Though the patterns are perfectly mathematical, Euclyd sounds alive. Swing and Feedback controls introduce motion, allowing static divisions to turn into rhythm that breathes and flows.
• Sonic Sculpting: Use the Low Cut / High Cut controls to shape the tonal range of the pattern, while the Diffusion control blends discrete taps into soft spatial clouds.

Key Controls for Creative Constraints

Euclyd's minimalist parameters lead to maximal ideas through key features like:

• Steps / Taps: Define the number of rhythmic divisions and active echoes in the pattern.
• Time / Bars: Set the total rhythmic length, with options for tempo-sync or free time.
