sonicLAB / sonicPlanet Introduces SPATAI - AI Assisted Surround Panner Utility

sonicLAB has announced SPATAI, a tool for surround sound designers. They say:

Imagine moving sound objects in 3D space using simple prompt entries, or generating complex, coordinated movement paths for multiple objects with AI assistance. SPATAI makes this a reality.

SPATAI is designed to overcome the creative limitations of traditional slider-based L/R, F/B, Elevation controls. It offers Large Language Model AI assistance to move sound objects in a virtual 3D acoustic space.

SPATAI translates in real time the movement of multiple objects in Cartesian or polar coordinates and sends this movement data with OSC or MIDI instructions to other 3D audio spatialization software, which renders or encodes the audio present at its input channels.

SPATAI is available in VST3, VST2, AU and standalone formats for macOS and Windows.

Token System:

• SPATAI creates a token account for each user with a default deposit of 500000 tokens. Each prompt submission consumes tokens.
• It requires a positive token balance to operate. Once all tokens are exhausted, additional token sets can be purchased.
• All presets are self-contained and can be used without consuming tokens. This is a pay-as-you-go model, where you only use tokens when you submit prompts.
