discoDSP releases KeyPad iOS MIDI controller, updates OB-Xd and FX Bundle

discoDSP has announced updates to the OB-Xd virtual analog synthesizer and the FX Bundle effects collection, along with the release of KeyPad, a new MIDI controller app for iOS.

OB-Xd 3.17

OB-Xd is a classic virtual analog synthesizer that recreates the Oberheim OB-X with enhancements like analog mode, micro random detuning, polyphonic unison, and bi-directional MIDI control.

Version 3.17 improves the user experience with informative parameter tooltips and resolves a disk mode preset persistence issue.

What's New:

• Filter Cutoff Tooltip: Added filter cutoff frequency tooltip with accurate DSP mapping, providing real-time frequency feedback while adjusting the filter.
• ADSR Tooltips: Improved ADSR tooltip format to musical/pro style with proper unit spacing for faster sound design workflow.
• Volume Tooltip: Added Volume tooltip with dB display and improved precision for all dB values.
• Fixed Disk Mode Preset Persistence: Resolved issue where modified preset parameters were resetting to defaults when closing and reopening the GUI window in disk mode.

FX Bundle 3.3

The FX Bundle receives a major Scope update with new visualization modes, GPU-accelerated rendering, and enhanced display capabilities.

• UI Refinements: Zoom slider auto-hiding below 150px window height, refined standalone audio settings, and contextual mode icons replacing text labels for a cleaner interface.

KeyPad for iOS
