Lunatic Phase's Pump Fast now has AU support

Lunatic Phase has released an AU version of Lunatic Pump Fast.

Lunatic Pump Fast is a beat-synced volume automation utility. Designed to simulate sidechain compression effects without the need for external routing, the plugin is intended for use in EDM and other electronic genres requiring rhythmic ducking.

The plugin operates by applying a volume envelope synced to the host DAW's tempo. Users can apply the effect to basslines, pads, or percussive elements to create rhythmic movement. According to Lunatic Phase, the internal architecture allows for ducking to initiate prior to a trigger point without introducing latency to the signal path.

Lunatic Pump Fast features a low CPU footprint, allowing for multiple instances across a session. The interface provides controls for the duration and depth (dry/wet) of the ducking effect. The volume envelope can be synced to note lengths ranging from 1/64 to 4 whole notes. Additionally, an offset control allows users to shift the phase of the ducking, enabling the processing of off-beats or specific rhythmic syncopations.

All parameters within the plugin are automatable and can be mapped to MIDI controllers or DAW automation lanes. The developer states that the processing algorithm is designed to prevent clicking or harmonic distortion during aggressive parameter modulation.
