At NAMM 2007 Lexicon announced the MX300 Stereo Reverb Effects Processor and MX500 FIREWIRE Dual Stereo / Surround Reverb Processor. Both products feature Lexicon's USB (MX300) or Firewire (MX500) "Hardware Plug-In" format that allows you to have complete plug-in control within any VST or Audio Units software environment, enabling you to control all automation and recall parameters exactly as you would with any software plug-in.

MX300 Stereo Reverb Effects Processor

The MX300 Stereo Reverb Effects Processor is a new single rack-space, 2-in, 2-out unit that combines an intuitive front-panel design with Lexicon's "Hardware Plug-In" technology, a USB connection and VST / AU interface for use with software recording platforms.

Featuring a wide array of complex reverb algorithms, delays, effects and dbx Professional Products dynamics, the MX300 is equally suited for the home studio or live use with a backlit LCD screen for parameter displays, a 2-in, 2-out design, and connectivity through both XLR and TRS balanced connectors as well as digital S/PDIF.

The MX300 will be available at an estimated street price of $399.95.

MX500 FIREWIRE Dual Stereo / Surround Reverb Processor

The MX500 FIREWIRE Dual Stereo / Surround Reverb Processor is a new single rack-space, 4-in, 4-out hardware unit that combines an intuitive front-panel design with Lexicon's "Hardware Plug-In" technology with Lexistream - an audio streaming firewire technology and VST / AU interface for use with software recording platforms.

Featuring a wide array of complex reverb algorithms, delays, effects and dbx dynamics, the MX500 is equally suited for the home studio or live use. The Lexistream Firewire Hardware Plug-In format allows users to have complete plug-in functionality with up to 96khz streaming audio from their MX500 within any VST or Audio Units software environment, enabling users to control an MX500 exactly as they would any software plug-in.

Equally at home for live applications, the MX500 supplies the FOH/live sound engineer intuitive front panel control with a backlit LCD screen for parameter displays. A 4-in, 4-out design, the MX500 offers connectivity through TRS balanced I/O, dual S/PDIF connectors, MIDI, and firewire. The MX500 also offers 4 channel surround algorithms, making it an extremely affordable offering to the ever-expanding surround market.
