Swar Systems updates SwarShala to v5.5

Swar Systems has released a new update to SwarShala that bridges live audio input and classical notation.

Create sequences by singing

You can now create new melodic sequences in Bhatkhande format by just singing or playing them. The software registers the pitch curve of your performance and uses that to create a proper sargam sequence that can then be shared on the cloud and retrieved in the iShala mobile app.

This makes it easy to add content to both SwarShala and iShala. Needless to say, every generated melody can be then played at any tempo and/or pitch, and on various instruments.
