Windows-G releases E-Wah-WahFX300 - JSFX Wah-Wah Plugin

Windows-G has announced the release of E-Wah-WahFX300, a JSFX wah-wah plugin for REAPER that can be used on any instrument that benefits from fixed or modulated bandpass filtering.

E-Wah-WahFX300 features two operating modes:

• Fixed Wah: For manual filter positioning.
• Auto Wah: For LFO-driven filter modulation.

Define the bandpass filter sweep range using the Low Freq (20 Hz – 500 Hz) and High Freq (1 kHz – 4 kHz) sliders, and shape the resonance of the filter at each extreme of the frequency range using the Low Q and High Q sliders.

In Auto Wah mode, choose from six LFO waveforms (Sine, Cubic S-curve, Square, Triangle, Ramp Down, and Ramp Up) and 19 rate divisions, ranging from 2/1 (slowest) to 1/32 (fastest), including dotted and triplet options. Adjust the filter modulation intensity using the LFO Depth slider (0–100%) and the starting position of the LFO waveform using the LFO Phase slider (0–100%). The mono channel modes convert the input signal to mono before the wah processing, while the stereo channel modes allow the wah effect to be applied independently to the left and right channels (L & R), to the mono component only (Mid), or to the stereo width component only (Side). Advanced host sync ensures the LFO phase is synced to the DAW timeline, eliminating sync drift issues.

Shape the wah-processed signal further with optional 12dB/oct high-pass (1 Hz – 20 kHz) and low-pass (20 Hz – 21 kHz) filters. Blend the dry and wet signals with the dry/wet mix control (0%–100%) and adjust the final output level with the Output Gain control (-30 dB to +30 dB).

E-Wah-WahFX300 comes with 16 factory presets that can be imported using the included RPL file. Instructions for importing the presets are provided in the "Installation & Preset Library Import" file included in the plugin download.

This JSFX plugin can also be used in other DAWs through the open-source YSFX plugin. YSFX is available in VST3, AU, and CLAP formats for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
